Week In Review: 3/31/18

We have a lot of comedians at Homer Lodge No. 199--most notably our Secretary Bro. Steve Hooper.  I found this on my pedestal waiting for me (it wasn't actually in the ballot box).  We all know a white marble accepts, and a black cube rejects--but what in the world does a white cube do?  Is that a "maybe" vote?  As it turns out, that white cube was actually chewing gum.  The Master should always carefully check the ballot box prior to a vote . . . to make sure there's no chewing gum, jelly beans, skittles, etc. in there.  Well, unless you're electing a guy named Willy Wonka, in which case a white Tic-Tac elects, and a brown M&M rejects . . .
Posted two really good pieces this week.  Freemasonry: A Personal Perspective which I originally posted back in 2012.  And the Thursday post was entitled Take A Few Moments Each Day To Broaden Your Horizons also from 2012.

I have no idea what I'll have for you next week.  I haven't gotten that far yet unfortunately.  My calendar has been crazy for months, and I've struggled to get anything posted just lately (let alone write anything of note for the Midnight Freemasons).  It's hard to write when you're either not home evenings, or when you are home evenings and you're worn out.  But April is looking pretty clear, and we're going to keep it that way.  I'm hoping I'll have some brand new material for you next week.  I have an unusually clear weekend which I plan to make good use of.

So you'll just have to tune in to find out what I might have for you . . . just like the old days.  Plan on stopping by on Tuesday and Thursday and see.
